Interactive Challenges: Content Control

Sorry we've been away for so long - things are picking up so we'll be much more regular going forward. Continuing from our previous post, the discussion with Deborah Douglas yielded a few challenges that we've since begun to address and will be shortly available after our release in the next few months;

- control; every enterprise that thrives on user driven content faces the issue of control; how to ensure that those posting material have the rights to do so, how to ensure that the material posted is appropriate for the intended audience and so on and so forth,

We're addressing this by ensuring that each institution can choose and moderate its own level of interactivity with guests. This will range from zero interactivity, in which all a guest can do is access and consume their audiotour or audioguide, to full interactivity in which guests can share their experience on various social networks and content aggregators, andrate, tag, comment on, repeat and manipulate content. In this way, each institution can tailor the level of interactivity to their own audience and comfort level.

Our next post will deal with Storage and Bandwidth. Thanks for reading
